Project 40.01.00

A few years ago, I met a couple of soul-sister Amma devotees. It was thru twitter, and somehow I almost lent Katelan Foisey, via her FedEx account, a pair of red, high heeled cowgirl boots, but mostly I read her blogs.
She shared some of Sherene Vismaya Schostak‘s posts and I started following her too. I emailed with Sherene about her monthly dance class and almost went to one when I happened to be in New York at just the right time (just, it turned out, not in the right neighborhood).
I’ve probably crossed paths with them at Amma darshan at least once.

They have both done Project 40 a few times and it’s lit my intrigue.

This time, I’m going to do it. I’ve watched from afar – sometimes daily, sometimes all in one reading session – and thought to do it “someday.” Sherene just emailed that the next collective Project 40 starts Thursday. Whatever research on it I have finished by tomorrow night will be what I work with. I plan to do a post a day for 40 days starting tomorrow. They may not be posted daily, but the questions I come up with by tomorrow night will be answered that day and posted in order.
